Maritim Hotel Würzburg

Due to the good reputation of the Maritim Hotel Würzburg, I decided to complete my apprenticeship as a hotel manageress here. After I successfully passed my apprenticeship, I wanted to gain experience abroad and decided to go to Australia, where I was able to gain new impressions in various positions. I then came back to Wuerzburg, where I continued to develop professionally at the Maritim Hotel from my initial position as a Human Resources Officer and have been Human Resources Manager at the Maritim Hotel Würzburg since January 2023.

Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin

When I started my training as a Chef at the Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin in 2003, it was clear to me that I wanted to stay here. In the meantime, I have been working in the kitchen for over 20 years and really appreciate the teamwork and the incredible team spirit in the hotel kitchen. My goal is to train as a Sous Chef in the near future.

Maritim has already shaped my professional upbringing, through an apprenticeship at the former Maritim Hotel Kaiserhof in Heringsdorf. After completing my apprenticeship, I stayed for another 2 years and then went to Leipzig, where I completed my vocational baccalaureate and my business administration degree. But I was drawn back to the Spree, to the Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin, where I started as a Reservation Assistant in 2012 and was promoted to Reservation Manageress on 31 December 2021 through constant promotion and demand. For me, this day is a double reason to toast.

Maritim Hotel Stuttgart

In my region, the Maritim Hotel Ulm is the best hotel and through a student internship I was able to gain further insights and so I decided to do an apprenticeship at Maritim. After my apprenticeship, I started in the hotel bar. A career interview and an internal application brought the next professional step into hotel accounting, first in Ulm and then at the Maritim Hotel Stuttgart. I arrived here and after 5 years I was already able to take over the department management. I am immensely proud of the team and its successes. Let's see what comes next.

Due to the excellent reputation of the Piano bar in and around Stuttgart, the dream grew in me to gain a foothold in this bar. So I started there many years ago as Commis de Bar and today I am Bar Manageress. Above all, the enthusiasm of the guests for our cocktails and spirits as well as the cooperation in the team with mutual appreciation enrich my work every day anew. I am proud that I was able to achieve my professional goal as a Bar manageress in the Pianobar and thus also fulfilled my "small" personal goal of having my own business card.

"Only do things you are passionate about": For me, these are the Maritim Hotels and my family. 18 years of Maritim Hotels have brought me from my apprenticeship in Bad Salzuflen to my current role as General Manager in Berlin. Accompanying talents on their journey and developing together inspires me every day anew. The fact that I am allowed to manage one of the most successful Maritim Hotels in Germany is a special appreciation for me. The journey under the three sails will certainly take me to other stations.

Maritim Hotel Ulm

It all started in 2013, my first day as a temporary employee at the Maritim Hotel Ulm. I liked the part-time job so much that I went straight into the hotel management apprenticeship. A great apprenticeship and it was clear that I wanted to start my career in the event sector. From Event Coordinator to now Group & Convention Manager, I was encouraged and pushed the whole time. And my passion for events and teamwork motivates me every day. The cohesion as a team and the cultivation of timeless courtesy makes Maritim a top employer for me.

Maritim Hotel Frankfurt

Six months on the white sandy beach of Mauritius, that was what it meant for me as part of my compulsory internship. 
After that, it was clear to me: I want to stay with Maritim! Today I am in charge of housekeeping in Frankfurt. 
I am still very amused when I am addressed as "Dear Madam" in invitations or e-mails because of my position. 
My big goal is to retire at Maritim, even if it is still a little while until then.
